Not a classic ,but a classic team,no side deserved to win this one but Holland could have made it to the final with a draw.
Claro triunfo de Holanda, muy superior a Brasil en juego colectivo y dinámica. La trascendencia del partido (una especie de semifinal) hizo que los holandeses fueran más cautelosos que contra Uruguay y Argentina. Respetaron a Brasil que venía de ser campeón del mundo. En el primer tiempo Holanda tuvo cuatro jugadas claras de gol, pero Brasil en la única pudo haberse ido ganando con una oportunidad que no pudo concretar Jairzinho sobre el cierre del primer tiempo. En el complemento, Holanda abre rápido el marcador y luego controla los tiempos del partido. Gran figura Neeskens, muy inteligente Van Hanemeg y desequilibrante Rensenbrink. Cruyff demostró en algunas jugadas su nivel superlativo. En Brasil la seguridad y calidad de Luis Pereira y el peligro que por nombre y presencia implicaban Rivelino y Jairzinho. Holanda merecido finalista, Brasil jugando por el tercer puesto es un broche aceptable para un campeonato que comenzó pésimo y del que estuvo a punto de no pasar de ronda.
Brasil probo varias maneras de resolver la presión de holanda tanto en salida como en mitad de cancha, incluso mandando a rivelino a buscar la pelota hasta su propia medialuna. Yo creo que quien mejor administro la pelota para Brasil fue Carpegiani, bastante activo y preciso en el primer tiempo y después reapareció con el partido 0-2 pero no alcanzo , porque lo de holanda es imposible. A pesar de que el arbitro bombeo un poco contra brasil, cobrando todo para holanda y hasta convalidando la jugada del segundo gol en la que hay un offside gigante, el nivel de los jugadores y la superioridad colectiva justifica la victoria. Lo raro es que el único que recibió marca personal fue Jair en el segundo tiempo por Jansen, y ahí desapareció el equipo, fue el momento donde menos pudo elaborar. Digo raro porque asignar una marca personal es una herramienta con la que hay que ser muy cuidadoso. A veces es fácil si el rival tiene una gran figura, pero este brasil tenia al menos dos grandes figuras, Jair y Rivelino, y cualquiera decantaría por el segundo para la marca personal. No porque Jair no haga méritos, sino porque no juega en la elaboración en este partido, y aun así Jansen lo persigue desde un arco al otro sin darle ni un metro.
Des micro-coupures de son qui arrivent entre 15 et 20 secondes durant tout le match empêchent une réelle lecture de celui-ci même s'il n'y a pas de commentaire ! Sinon, c'est un match qui ne reste pas dans les annales surtout en première mi-temps avec une avalanche de fautes... Les Pays-Bas méritent leur victoire dans cette pseudo demie-finale et le Brésil a confirmé son déclin à jouer à l'européenne.

I am new here and I have to say... this is the best site ever, because not only did you manage to provide us what is not there anymore (youtube), but also filled with information, directions and organization. Congratulations! I don't have social life anymore lol. One question, though: Why isn't there audio in some videos for some people (like this game)? Is there a way to fix it? I've already tried (re)installing codec, flashplayer, etc., but nothing changed. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your comments and for capturing so well the essence of this project! :-) As for the audio on this video, we don't know the source and therefore we don't know why there's no audio on this video - not for some people, for anyone. In this case, we received this copy that featured much better picture quality than the copy we had before, and that's always our priority, the best possible quality considering the circumstances.
Otra leccion de futbol se la naranja mecanica. Para variar neeskens saco todos los premiados, le pegaron tanto que hasta le costo la expulsion a un brasileño. Ademas hizo un gol y estuvo en todas. Grande

Debe haber sido humillante para una selección multicampeona como Brasil en 1974, que una novedad como era Holanda les diera semejante paseo durante 90 minutos. Se nota su impotencia en las patadas y foules dignos de tarjeta roja
