This game was the third and final friendly played between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Poland in the 2007–2011 period. All of the games were played in Turkey, in or near Antalya. Because they were played in December, during an unofficial window for international games, clubs were not under the obligation to release their players. For this reason, both teams in all of the games were mostly or completely composed of players from their respective domestic leagues. The only exception in this game was Zoran Kvržić, who was playing for a Croatian team (NK Osijek) at the time. Poland recognizes all three matches as official games, while Bosnia and Herzegovina recognizes only the one played in 2010. Bosnia's manager for this game was Husref Musemić, while the manager for the senior squad at the time was Safet Sušić.
