This game for me is only memorable because of the penalty shoot-out at the end of extra time. Tomislav Ivkovic saved Maradona's penalty and if I'm not mistaken, became later the only goalkeeper ever to have saved two penalties in two different penalty shoot outs from Maradona. Ivkovic repeated the feat months later at the Italian WC where he again saved from Maradona in the Q/F between Argentina and Yugoslavia in Florence. Legend has it that in the Q/F shoot-out Ivkovic wagered Maradona $US100 that he would save his penalty with Maradona paying up after the match!
